A special space like no other
The Divinity School is one of the oldest surviving purpose-built rooms in the University of Oxford. The name comes from its original purpose as a classroom where theology, known as ‘divinity’, was taught and examined between the fifteenth and nineteenth century. Now, the space continues to impress as one of the beautiful event spaces in Oxford.

About us
The Divinity School is completely transformed for any event in the space. If you’re looking for a drinks reception, we can bring in poseur tables and a bar, but if it’s a dinner you’re looking for the space accommodates guests seated in either college (long benches) or cabaret style (round tables). Plus, there’s plenty of space for entertainment, speeches or even dancing in the evening!
